recordar sobre el S\u00edndrome de Down<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Se trata de un trastorno en el cromosoma 21 que ocasiona discapacidad intelectual y del desarrollo<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>La utilizaci\u00f3n de medias dispares y coloridas es la manera de crear conciencia, promover derechos, inclusi\u00f3n y un mejor trato para estas personas<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCon nosotros, no por nosotros\u201d, es el lema que conmemora para este a\u00f1o 2023, el d\u00eda mundial del S\u00edndrome de Down, motivo que busca generar una mejor conciencia social y crear una sola voz para promover los derechos, inclusi\u00f3n y un mejor trato de las personas con esta condici\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la regi\u00f3n Metropolitana de Salud, la ma\u00f1ana de este 21 de marzo los funcionarios unidos a este prop\u00f3sito mundial utilizaron medias disparejas y coloridas haciendo el llamado a concienciar en el tema, que por ser diferentes todos tienen los mismos derechos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las investigaciones m\u00e9dicas han demostrado que el s\u00edndrome de Down es un trastorno provocado por el desarrollo de material extra en el cromosoma 21, lo que ocasiona la discapacidad intelectual y del desarrollo, consider\u00e1ndose una discapacidad y no una enfermedad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), fue quien determin\u00f3 en diciembre del 2011 que todos los 21 de marzo se celebrase el D\u00eda Mundial del
